I feel like this song last night was setting Phillip up for victory. Like seriously. I realized last night that while Jessica is by far the better singer - I MEAN BY FAR, THAT GIRL IS MAGICAL - she isn’t an artist. I know nothing about her other than she is Filipino and that was homeschooled, which is now obvious.

Phillip is an artist in all senses of the word, in the same way Kris Allen was, and David Cook, just more current - LIKE RIDICULOUSLY CURRENT. That song sounded straight out of Mumford & Sons catalogue.
